![]() This version of “Exodia” cannot be Special Summoned and thus relies on Tribute Summon for its arrival, but if its winning condition is far from our priority we don’t need to always invest a whole field on its arrival. While stacking stats to become a solid offense is nothing new compared to monsters released in the past, “Exodia, Master of The Guard” gives us a slight chance to achieve a win by bypassing an effect that seems at first inconsistent against many Decks. But the highlight of this “Exodia” is its own winning condition becoming available after using five tributes, as by defeating a DARK Fiend that was originally owned by the opponent it will automatically win us the Duel. This “Exodia” can be Tribute Summoned with two or five monsters as materials, which in return will pile their original stats on itself. “Exodia, Master of The Guard” is an interpretation of “Exodia” shown during the final arc of the original series, trying to replicate the scenario with its effects. When comes to the game itself “Exodia” is usually recognized as a strong effect to invest on thanks to the many drawing engines it obtained over many years, as well a variety of counterparts which portrays this monster in a complete body despite not providing an immediate victory. Its winning condition was activated in the very first episode of the localized anime (Therefore ignoring Duels prior from the manga and the known by fans Season 0), therefore leaving a mark on those curious for the show when debuted. “Exodia the Forbidden Once” might be one of the most popular cards in the whole franchise even for those unfamiliar with the series or the card game. ![]() This card’s ATK/DEF becomes the combined original ATK/DEF of the Tributed monsters.Ĭan Be Found In: 20th Anniversary Legend Collection (20TH-JPC02) If this card Summoned this way destroys a DARK Fiend monster that is owned by your opponent by battle, you win the Duel. You can Tribute 5 monsters to Tribute Summon (but not Set) this card. It’s boring as heck.Cannot be Special Summoned. My list is only a couple cards different from this one Ĭrooked Cook is the only good slow Exodia deck played in master duel. This list is nice tho I don’t think pseudo-space is that great, would replace with mallet, reload, and gold moon coin Ĭardian Exodia is an acquired taste but my personal favourite. Library Exodia is traditional, and I like it. You’ll have seen a Treasure Panda build on master duel meta, versions that run a link package with Union Carrier are preferred - tho I’m still workshopping my own list for this variant We’re just into a new season so whatever rank you’ve just become, is as low as you can go till next season.Įxodia isn’t particularly good, and the best Exodia decks tend to require a few URs cos generic draw power is (rightly) expensive.
